Sitting in my Nowhere Land

This is gonna be pretty boring because I didn't do much of anything this weekend except recover from the previous week. oh well...

I've been very creative this weekend. writing lots of good stuff. What I wouldn't give to be better at playing the piano and guitar. Maybe if I keep practicing I'll get there. But man it's times like these when I wish I could go back in time and change things. If I had my way I would've started piano lessons wayyyy earlier in life.... at like 7 years old or something.

The inspiration has been overflowing this week,Thanks to the special boy in my life. It's been good to get things out that I've been keeping inside. I love how writing can do that. I pity anyone who can't write. Without it I'd for sure be going to therapy... I just know it. Thank God I don't have to resort to that.

Other than writing,I managed to sneak in a couple of Beatles movies. There was one called "Love Story: John and Yoko" and the more popular "Hard Day's Night". I really didn't care for either. I think I should just resign myself strictly to documentaries and interviews from now on, because I give up. "Love Story" was also one of those "made for tv" things. But while this one was a little more consistent with sticking to the truth, it was all really cheesy for me and I think it has to do with the fact that I believe no one can play John Lennon except John Lennon. That's the problem...and it obviously can't be fixed, so sorry made-for-tv movies but you'll never be good enough. And Hard Day's Night I kinda found a bit monotonous...I mean....did you ever notice that all they ever do in that film is run away from something? kinda got old for me. Can't understand why it was such a hit but oh well...to each their own I guess.

oh yea! I have a new favorite quote that I heard someone say tonight. "Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight." it's a line from a Beatle's song called "I'm Looking Through You".I didn't know that at first...had to google it, but I'm in love with that line. It speaks a thousand words for me. And above all else...it's the truth.

That's pretty much everything right now. Kinda sucks when the week before was so awesome. Pales in comparison to everything else right now.
